RAy3 24Ghz PTP Microwave Radio

RAy3 FWA Radio Antenna PTP LOS

RAy3, Licenced Band Standard in Licence Exempt Spectrum

The growing trend for operators to break the chains of licenced spectrum demands that any licence exempt microwave must meet the rigorous demands of licenced standard microwave equipment.

The RAy series of PTP microwave radios is one such family of products. RAy3 is the third generation unlicensed band radio (UBR) unit that reaches 1Gbps data speed under the auspice of inherent resistance to interference whilst being protected by AES 256 encryption.

A unique selling point of the 24Ghz RAy3 is its use of asymmetric channels that allows it to optimise all the available spectrum giving it an unparalleled perspective for a PTP microwave radio.

Telefina are actively looking for new opportunities to provide FWA LOS wireless solutions to mobile operators across Asia and in Europe where we have recently opened a new office. RAy3 Connectivity

RAy3 connectivity port availability
Slot Function
Eth 1 + POE Gigabit metallic Ethernet + Power over Ethernet (PoE) port This port is capable of powering the unit with active or passive PoE power source or with direct DC
Eth 2 Slot for user exchangeable SFP module A wide range of fibre optics Ethernet modules is available. Both single or dual mode transceivers can be used. SFP module with metallic RJ45 interface can also be used
The SFP LED Located on SFP, just next to connectors. It is controlled by SFP module. Its function is specific for each SFP module. The typical behaviour is an indication the received signal from the optical or metallic link to be within operational range
